Jesus is showing us a God of love. Not a God of judgement, punishment or justice, and certainly not a God of hierarchies. He washed enough people’s feet, to show us that.

Jesus tells us that all the kingdoms of Earth are evil, and He calls on his followers to build the Kingdom of God. His lessons show us again and again how we’re expected to live in this Kingdom.
